NASA's Web-site
This site contains, lessons, pictures, movies, simulations, and many other resources for math and science

This is a site with a large number of interactive lessons.  After registering, you can interact with lessons from many different
areas and even create your own.  These are really cool, however, they are a bit difficult if you are unfamiliar with technology.

The Internet Public Library
This site is awesome.  It contains many different resources in a large number of different areas.  These resources are
located in categories which are easy to navigate and explore.

FREE Federal Resources for Educational Excellence
This site is extremely useful.  It contains archives, transcripts and many other free resources in Arts, Educational technology,
Foreign languages, Health and safety, Language arts, Mathematics, Physical education, Science, Social studies,and
Vocational education.

Kathy Schrock's Guide for Educators is a categorized list of sites useful for enhancing curriculum and professional growth. It
is updated often to include the best sites for teaching and learning.

For upper elementary and middle school students, try this wonderful project where they will create a compound insect eye
with egg cartons, metallic acrylic paints, small round mirrors, and paper mache materials
